Background
In 1975, Mr. Jayant Kisan Barve an agriculture graduate from ‘Konkan Krushi Vidyapeeth’ decide to start growing mangoes instead of opting for a government job that was easily available at that time. He was very determined and put tons of hard work, and nature supported his efforts.
Modern agricultural knowledge and techniques were used to develop the serenity of Amrayog. Mr. Barve did not look at his plantations as an income but he looked after them like his own children.
It is truly said, the best things in life are made out of love. The experience that we offer here at Amrayog is nothing but the dream of Mr. Jayant Barve.
Activities
Wake up in the morning with the sweet sound of Peacocks and go on a stroll in the mango trees or you can go visit nearby temples.
In the afternoon, when the sun is shining bright, take rest amongst the shadows of mango trees and read your favorite book on a swing or you can indulge in interesting conversions with fellows travelers or with our team at Amrayog.
